U.S. Army Soldiers compete as a unit during the XVIII Airborne Corps Best Squad Competition on Fort Liberty, North Carolina, April 29 - May 2, 2024. The week-long event tests the squad's effectiveness, communication, and overall cohesion, as well as the individual Soldier’ technical and tactical proficiency, endurance, and fortitude to determine which team from the XVIII Airborne Corps advanced to the U.S. Army Forces Command Best Squad Competition later this year.
