U.S. Soldiers, assigned to 2nd Cavalry Regiment, 41st Field Artillery Brigade and 12th Combat Aviation Brigade, participate in an obstacle course during the V Corps Best Squad Competition at Grafenwoehr Training Area, Germany, May 7, 2024. The “confidence” style of obstacle course, which includes higher and more difficult obstacles, can develop confidence and strength by using obstacles that train and test balance and muscular strength, while the “conditioning” style of obstacle course has low obstacles that must be negotiated quickly, testing a Soldier’s basic motor skills and physical condition.
