Marines with Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron (MALS) 12, Marine Aircraft Group (MAG) 12, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing (MAW), and Marines with MALS-31, MAG-31, 2nd MAW, build guided bombs at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, May 21, 2024. MALS-31, the “Stingers”, are based out of Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, South Carolina and currently augment MAG-12 as part of their Unit Deployment Program. MALS-12 and MALS-31 are training in Guam as part of the Aviation Training Relocation program to enhance interservice capabilities and to sustain high operational readiness in the Indo-Pacific.
