The 48th annual Washington National Guard Adjutant General’s Militia Ball took place on May 18, 2024 at the Greater Tacoma Convention Center in Tacoma, WA. The evening also served as a special opportunity to bid farewell to Maj. Gen. Bret Daugherty after 12 years of serving honorably as the Adjutant General of the Washington Military Department. As The Adjutant General, he commands all Washington Army and Air National Guard forces and is Director of the State’s Emergency Management and Enhanced 911 programs. In this video Maj. Gen. Bret Daugherty addresses the audience as the keynote speaker. The Washington State Military Department’s Public Affairs team created the video that highlights the outstanding career of Maj. Gen. Bret Daugherty.
