The 16th Special Operations Aircraft Maintenance Squadron recently swapped out external fuel tanks on 8 of our #AC-130J Ghostriders, giving them the ability to drop the tanks mid-flight to extend high-altitude flight time without losing combat capability.
#AFSOC and the joint force depend on The #Steadfast Line’s ability to rapidly deploy and operate from austere, contested environments—an impossibility without our Air Commando maintenance teams.
Our maintainers work tirelessly around the clock to give us unconventional options, and our adversaries something to worry about.
