M270 Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS) conducts live fire training at Annual Training in Fort Chaffee, Ark., June 20, 2024. Everything was going well until Staff Sgt. Daniel Smith, chief on the M270, noticed a plume of smoke from the back of the car, and promptly extinguished what was later identified as an oil leak fire.
