Soldiers of Maryland National Guard’s 229th Army Band perform four concerts across Estonia, July 2-5, 2024, as a part of the State Partnership Program. On July 2, they played a concert with the Estonian Defense League (Kaitseliit) at the Nooruse House’s Summer Garden in Pärnu. The next day they performed at a 4th of July Celebration at U.S. Ambassador House in Tallinn along with Popsid, a marching band from Tartu. On Independence Day, their rock band “Live Fire” played a concert for a youth audience from Spekter Summer Camp at the Jõulumäe Recreation Center in Pärnu. On July 5, they brought the full concert band out to celebrate the Estonian Air Force's (Õhuvägi) 105th anniversary at Keila Lauluväljak. (U.S. Air National Guard video by Maj. Benjamin Hughes)
