From July 15 to July 25, Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center (NAVFAC EXWC) conducted underwater inspections of mooring systems on board Commander Fleet Activities Yokosuka. These Fleet Mooring Inspections (FMI) were supported by Construction Dive Detachment (CDD) Charlie, the U.S. Naval Ship Repair Facility and Japan Regional Maintenance Center (SRF-JRMC) Dive Locker, and Commander, Submarine Group 7 (CSG-7).
For over 75-years, U.S. Naval Ship Repair Facility and Japan Regional Maintenance Center (SRF-JRMC) has been the linchpin of U.S. naval operations in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region by providing intermediate-level and depot level repair for the ships of the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Seventh Fleet.
