U.S. Air Force Airmen assigned to Osan Air Base participate in a 3-day innovation workshop called Project Mercury at Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea, June 30 - Aug. 1, 2024.
This workshop marked the first time Project Mercury coaches trained Airmen in the Pacific Air Forces and on the Korean Peninsula; uniting personnel from various ranks and career fields to engage in Constructive Conflictâ„¢ and structured problem solving to generate data-driven solutions to mission related challenges.
The workshop is designed to gain interest in the 12-week course to become a Certified Professional Innovator, generate and present actionable innovative solutions to wing leadership, and instill an innovative culture, competency and community within the Air Force and Space Force to outpace any and all peer competitors.
