U.S. Marines execute Orient Shield 24 at Yausubetsu Maneuver Area, Hokkaido, Japan, July 19-23, 2024. Orient Shield is an annual training exercise that focuses on rapid tactical deployment and synchronized fires against simulated targets, reinforcing the interoperability between U.S. Forces and the Japan Ground Self-Defense Forces.
