USAG Humphreys leadership holds a ribbon cutting ceremony at new family housing units naming three new buildings after Medal of Honor recipients 2nd Lt. Darwin K. Kyle, Master Sgt. Woodrow Wilson Keeble, and Pvt. Miguel A. Vera, who all served in the Korean War. The purpose of the ribbon cutting ceremony is to commemorate Medal of Honor recipients who served in the Korean War. The Medal of Honor is the nation's highest medal for valor in combat that can be awarded to members of the armed forces. Since being authorized 163 years ago, only 3,519 Medals of Honor have been awarded.
