The Montana National Guard, in conjunction with the Personnel Recovery Proponent Office, hosted the first iteration of Mountain Regions Survival SERE B (Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape) class on Sept. 9-13 at Fort Harrison, Mont. This class included learning basic survival skills and putting them into practice with a rotary wing extraction.
As the only SERE B school offered by the National Guard, Montana will continue to host and teach Soldiers from around the country in these important skills.
