U.S. Marines with Combat Logistics Battalion 31, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, conduct training during a CLB-31 field exercise at Kin Blue Beach Training Area, Okinawa, Japan, Nov. 5, 2024. The training simulates the establishment of surface connector lines of logistics in a combat service support area, and Marines assemble and test a light-weight water purification system. The 31st MEU, the Marine Corps’ only continuously forward-deployed MEU, provides a flexible and lethal force ready to perform a wide range of military operations as the premiere crisis response force in the Indo-Pacific region.
