KITTERY, Maine (April 01, 2024): SeaPerch is an innovative underwater robotics program that equips students, educators, and parents with the resources they need to build an underwater remotely operated vehicle (ROV) in an in- or out-of-school setting. Portsmouth Naval Shipyard STEM Outreach Program provides material and tool support and offers trained facilitators for dozens of
SeaPerch builds each year. This would not be possible without the behind-the-scenes efforts of Senior Engineer, Roland Marquis. Roland, often known as “the SeaPerch guy”, has supported the growth and success of the SeaPerch program through the Seacoast area for over a decade.
