Leaders and representatives from Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point and Blue Rock Construction broke ground for construction of a new library, Project P253 for U.S. Marines and Sailors and family stationed at MCAS Cherry Point, North Carolina, Dec. 4, 2024. The event announced the beginning of construction for a state-of-the-art, 18,000-square-foot facility that is projected to be completed by late 2026. It is one of multiple projects currently underway to deliver on the commitment of providing a commensurate quality of life for service members, civilian personnel and families.
