1st Lt. Renata Virsilaite, Lithuanian Armed Forces' Chief of the Civil Military Operations Center (CMOC), described the participation of Lithuania, and NATO counterparts such as the United States, in exercise Confidence 2024, on Dec. 12, 2024. Virsilaite expressed how this exercise improved military operations and efficiencies and evaluated the readiness of Civil-Military Cooperation and Information Operations units, to perform designated tasks for national armed defense, within the training environment. U.S. Troops with Task Force Pegasus participating in the exercise recognize the importance of connecting with local communities throughout Europe.
