After school, Army JROTC Raider teams are typically found running through the woods and clearing obstacles built on their school grounds to prepare for the National Raider Challenge at Fort Knox, Kentucky. However, not every Raider team has access to the terrain or obstacles needed to train for the competition. Xavier High School’s Raider team, located in New York City, had to find ways to adapt their training to prepare for National Raider Challenge 2024.
