U.S. Army Reserve Soldiers from the 7th Mission Support Command's 2500th Digital Liaison Detachment partnered with the Italian Military Red Cross and the 173rd Airborne Infantry Brigade for combat medical training Jan. 9, 2025, at Caserma Ederle in Vicenza, Italy. The daylong familiarization event allowed U.S. and Italian personnel to share medical knowledge on how best to treat combat casualties, while also exercising the DLD's mission to coordinate and liaise between U.S. and ally nations.
The 7th Mission Support Command is the U.S. Army Reserve presence in Europe. Comprised of 26 units across Germany and Italy, the 7th MSC provides logistical and sustainment resources in support of U.S. Army Europe - Africa missions across the theater.
