Caelan Serrano, a medic with the 3-321 Field Artillery Regiment, 18th Field Artillery Brigade, XVIII Airborne Corps, explains the procedures for setting up a triage site during a medical operations exercise at Camp Tapa on Jan. 24, 2025. The meeting brought together NATO forces from the U.S., France, Britain and Estonia to discuss medical treatment and protocols in the event of a mass casualty incident. Representatives from each country shared their medical capabilities, protocols and treatment procedures, with the goal of establishing a unified and effective approach to triage and medical care. The meeting aimed to ensure that allies can assist each other where help is needed and make logistical decisions to facilitate swift and effective medical treatment in the future.
