U.S. Marines with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 265, Marine Aircraft Group (MAG) 36, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing establish an expeditionary airfield during Nansei Sword 25 on Ie Shima Training Facility, Okinawa, Japan, Feb. 3, 2025. Nansei Sword 25 is designed to provide realistic training that increases the combat readiness of MAG-36 through exercising communication set up and utilization.
