U.S. Airmen from Aviano Air Base, Italy, and Hill Air Force Base, Utah, salvage, pack and crate an F-16 Fighting Falcon, Dec. 6, 2024, in the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility. These two teams salvaged parts from the aircraft, saving the F-16 enterprise over $9.5 million dollars and removed the aircraft from the flightline, saving valuable space needed for working aircraft.
