U.S. Air Force Col. Billy Pope, Jr., 81st Training Wing commander, and Chief Master Sgt. Ryan Taylor, 81st TRW command chief, host the Monthly Update at Keesler Air Force Base, Mississippi, Mar. 10, 2025. Pope and Taylor recapped the annual Wing Awards ceremony and the 2nd Air Force Commander’s Decision Round Table and Monster Mash physical training exercise. They also discussed the 81st Training Wing being awarded the Air and Space Outstanding Unit Award for the period July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023, as well as the Standards and Readiness Reviews taking place across the Department of the Air Force, and the upcoming Chiefs versus Eagles softball game.
