Col. Curtis V. Ebitz relinquishes his post as the commanding officer of Marine Corps Air Station New River to Col. Garth W. Burnett during a change of command ceremony on MCAS New River in Jacksonville, North Carolina, July 8, 2022. Burnett is coming to command MCAS New River from Headquarters Marine Corps, Manpower and Reserve Affairs, as the Aviation Lieutenant Colonel Monitor. Ebitz is set to retire after relinquishing his post after 29 years of faithful service.
