U.S. Marine Sgt. David Tupper and his wife Caroline are recognized as guests of honor at the 6th annual reception and dinner honoring wounded veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan and their families hosted by families of the Wounded Fund, Inc., at the National Museum of the Marine Corps, in Triangle, Va., Sept. 21, 2013. Founded in Richmond, Virginia in 2005, Families of the Wounded Fund provides financial assistance to families of soldiers, Marines, sailors, and airmen who were wounded in combat while serving America in the War on Terror. The Fund directs 100 percent of donations and the net proceeds from their events to assist families who come to McGuire VA Medical Center in Richmond for treatment. DoD photo by U.S. Army Staff Sgt.
