Chief Hull Maintenance Technician Charles Pederson of Yucca Valley, Calif., and Ensign Paul Homer of Dunbar, Pa., give training to Saudi Arabian sailors in damage control techniques aboard the amphibious dock landing ship USS Gunston Hall (LSD 44), which is part of the USS Bataan Amphibious Ready Group. Gunston Hall is training with multinational partners during Exercise Eager Lion 2014 to increase interoperability in the region. Eager Lion is a recurring, multinational exercise designed to strengthen military-to-military relationships and enhance regional security and stability by responding to modern-day security scenarios.
