Marines with 3rd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, pass through the chow line during Thanksgiving Dinner, Nov. 25. The dinner included turkey, sweet potatoes, and apple pie. The Marines may not have much, but smiles abounded as the warriors wished one another ‘Happy Thanksgiving.’ Some of the Marines even watched a football game from the previous week. While they enjoyed a common holiday, many took time to remember that many of their comrades will sleep under the stars tonight and not have a good Thanksgiving meal.
