More than 7200 pounds of unserviceable tank rounds and mortars wait to be detonated during a controlled detonation near Camp Leatherneck, Afghanistan, Feb. 19. Marines of 1st Marine Logistics Group (Forward) took charge of destroying the unserviceable ammunition to ensure it would not be mixed with serviceable ammunition and possibly issued for use.
