WHITE SANDS MISSILE RANGE, NEW MEXICO, UNITED STATES

    412th Theater Engineer Command

U.S. Army Reserve Soldiers with the 372nd Quarter Master Battalion (Petroleum Support), stationed at Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico, and 4th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary), based at Fort Sam Houston, Texas, pass check point 1 during the 2018 Bataan Memorial Death March at White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico, March 25, 2018. The Bataan memorial Death March honors the U.S. service members and Filipino Soldiers that were forced marched 65 miles by the Japanese Army through the Philippine jungle in April of 1942. Events like this challenge a Soldier’s body and mind, while ensuring America’s Army Reserve units and Soldiers are trained and ready to deploy on short-notice and bring capable, combat-ready, and lethal firepower in support of the Army and our joint partners anywhere in the world.
