Lance Cpl. Andrew Childress, a native of Shorewood, Minn., and currently assigned to Wounded Warrior Battalion West, Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii, enjoys a lighthearted moment with Kea, a service dog with the Hawaii Fi Do during a dog training session Sept. 23. Every Friday, the Marines from the Wounded Warrior Battalion meet with dogs from Fi Do in order to learn how to train dogs, which in turn translates into a form of therapy for the Marines that are rehabilitating from physical or mental scars as a result of their deployments to Afghanistan.
