(Dec 16, 2022) – Lt Gen Michael Schmidt (center), Program Executive Officer for the F-35 Lightning II Joint Program Office, poses with members of the Poland Defence Attaché delegation in Arlington, VA. The F-35 is the premier multi-mission, 5th-generation weapon system. The F-35 has been operational since July 2015 and is the most lethal, survivable, and interoperable fighter aircraft ever built.
