U.S. Navy SH-60 Sea Hawk airlifts supplies onto the amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA-6) during a replenishment at sea in the Philippine Sea, Feb. 3, 2022. During the RAS Marines and Sailors worked together to resupply the ship’s storage of food and supplies. The 31st MEU is operating aboard ships of USS America Amphibious Ready Group in the 7th fleet area of operations to enhance interoperability with allies and partners and serve as a ready response force to defend peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
