Corporal Pierre K. Justin was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, in 1990. At the age of 15, he left the Caribbean and moved to his father's house in New York City. Today he serves as an administration clerk, deployed with the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit aboard the USS Rushmore. The 15th MEU is deployed as part of the Peleliu Amphibious Ready Group as a theater reserve and crisis response force throughout U.S. Central Command and the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
