MRF-SEA continues Corporals Course in Palawan

U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Jason Smith, a mortarman with Marine Rotational Force-Southeast Asia, I Marine Expeditionary Force, demonstrates how to set security during a Corporal’s Course on Marine Base Rodolfo Punsalang, Palawan, Philippines, Nov. 6, 2023. The course provided the Philippine and U.S. Marines with the basic knowledge and skills necessary to become successful small-unit leaders using realistic problem-based situations that they will encounter. MRF-SEA is a Marine Corps Forces Pacific operational model which involves planned exchanges with subject matter experts, promotes security goals with Allies and partners, and positions I MEF forces west of the International Date Line.
