U.S. Marines, veterans, and family members gather for the off-duty education Student Success ceremony on Marine Corps Base Quantico, Virginia, April 19, 2024. Veterans and active-duty service members were celebrated on their academic accomplishments of completing their formal education despite the daily challenges to meet all requirements called upon them in their personal and professional lives. The Marine Corps Base Quantico Volunteer Education Center was the third largest processing center in the U.S. Marine Corps that assisted in facilitating FY23 tuition assistance to over 2,015 students, 6,000 classes, and authorized funding for 4,495,526 dollars with approximately 148-degree completions.
