CHARLESTON, S.C. - A Coast Guard boatcrew from Station Charleston rescued four boaters after the bass boat they were aboard struck an unknown object and all four people were ejected near Drum Island in Charleston, S.C., Friday, Oct. 19, 2012. One of the boaters swam to shore, where the boat ended up, and used the vessel's VHF-FM marine radio to call for help. U.S. Coast Guard audio file.
