The Army National Guard Best Warrior Competition is the culminating event to determine who will be named the top noncommissioned officer and junior enlisted Soldier in the Army Guard. Those two Soldiers will then go on to compete at the Department of the Army Best Warrior Competition this fall. The 14 competitors in the Army Guard Best Warrior Competition represent the best of more than 350,000 men and women serving in the Army Guard in all 54 states and territories and the District of Columbia. This year’s competition is hosted by the Utah Army National Guard and held at Camp Williams, Utah.
Indiana is well represented in this year’s Army National Guard Best Warrior competition currently underway in Utah. The national competition pits warriors who won their regional competition in two categories, Soldier of the Year and Noncommissioned Officer of the Year.
