Arctic Eagle is a joint service and international exercise, based on the<br />
U.S. and Denmark National Strategies for the Arctic, addressing the defense<br />
of critical infrastructure within the Arctic Circle.
Soldiers of the Michigan National Guard, active duty Soldiers from Camp Atterbury, Ind., Army Reserve Soldiers, U.S. Marines, Airmen, and Coast Guard, as well as soldiers of the Danish Home Guard worked with local agencies in Northern Michigan to complete exercise Arctic Eagle in late April.
The Michigan Army National Guard along with Danish forces spent the past couple of days at Rockport State Recreation Area participating in Artic Eagle.
Arctic Eagle, a joint military training exercise, will take place at Camp Grayling, Rockport State Park and Mackinaw City from April 18 - 25.
