ARCTIC EDGE 2018 is a Homeland Defense exercise hosted by Alaskan Command under the authority of U.S. Northern Command. ARCTIC EDGE will prepare and test military forces’ ability to operate tactically in the extreme cold-weather conditions found in Arctic environments. Approximately 1,500 U.S. military personnel from all branches of service are expected to participate.
