The 84th Training Command and the 78th Training Division executes Combat Support Training Exercise (CSTX) 78-19-02 (8-28 June 2019), at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, NJ in order to enable Army Reserve units to achieve, improve, and/or sustain pre-mobilization collective readiness. The CSTX will provide an opportunity for commanders to train their units on mission essential tasks (METs) utilizing an approach of increasing intensity through a realistic, demanding, and austere training environment. An austere training environment will require units to bring modified table of organization equipment (MTOE), common tables of allowances (CTA) equipment, and all life support items necessary to accomplish their mission. The training environment will replicate a complex operational environment (OE) through the use of live and virtual training domains. The exercise scenario will incorporate real-world data and artificial data to set the conditions for a wide range of training events.
The 78th Training Division partners with the Atlantic Training Division, Medical Readiness Training Command (MRTC), and First Army to achieve the planning and execution of CSTX. show less
