Fires burning in southern Colorado in Costillas & Huerfano Counties being fought by firefighters from around the country and assets from the Colorado National Guard.
Active, reserve and National Guard personnel are working together to contain the Black Forest fire burning north of Colorado Springs, Colo. The fire, that began on 11 Jun, continues to burn out of control. Multiple local, state and federal agencies are responding to the fire. Military personnel and equipment are part of this response.

On Tuesday, August 30, 2017 Delaware Air National Guard aircrews flew to Texas for Hurricane Harvey relief efforts. The 166th Airlift Wing aircrews have been transporting supplies to include water and non-perishables to Hurricane Harvey victims and volunteers.
