This poster was created to promote awareness about the dangers of internet information thieves to military and civilian members of NATO, and was displayed at the command during the summer of 2021. It depicts a cyber criminal using strings to manipulate the service member puppets below, and was created using raster-based imagery and techniques. The digital theme is intended to emphasize the virtual nature of the threat, and the concept of puppetry illustrates the level of control criminals have over their victims. Allied Command Transformation is NATO’s warfare development command located in North America, dedicated to preserving the peace, security, and territorial integrity of Alliance member states by leading the warfare development of military structures, forces, capabilities and doctrines.
