This illustration highlights California National Guards Drug Demand Reduction Outreach program, which provides substance use and misuse prevention education that teaches youth about the power of choices, the health risk from drug misuse, and the importance of resisting peer pressure through curricula such as D.A.R.E, Mind Matters, and the DEA's Operation Prevention, created on Dec. 5, 2022.
