The California National Guard Counterdrug Task Force worked with a multi-agency team to successfully eradicate more than 632,000 marijuana plants, 51,000 pounds of garbage, 40 miles of irrigation line and 5,500 pounds of fertilizer and pesticides from public lands in the Mendocino National Forest.
At a Los Angeles-area high school, countless law enforcement agents and Soldiers met before sunrise, preparing to serve 170 warrants in a single day as part of a large-scale, illegal marijuana eradication operation in June this year. The California National Guard Counterdrug Task Force received a request from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department to provide transportation support during the operation.
