Done for the Nov. 6 Fort Johnson Guardian issue. This graphic contains a mixture of photos taken at the reunion Oct. 28, historic photos of the Fort Johnson heritage families and the last names of each heritage family.
The heritage families of Fort Johnson were displaced when Camp Polk was initiated over 80 years ago. As a way to give back to the families, as well as to thank them and show appreciation, Fort Johnson started the Fall Heritage Reunion back in 2007. The reunion is still held today.
This graphic was done with a combination of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Elements used from Adobe Stock with authorized license. (U.S. Army graphic by Porsha Auzenne)
