Role players request assistance from Marines during exercise Scarlet Response in Perry, Ga., Aug. 18, 2013. Marines with the Chemical Biological Incident Response Force searched for and extracted victims of a staged attack. The role players were trying to help their friend who had a bolt in her eye. The 48-hour exercise was designed to train the Marines in new techniques and certify them to respond to Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and High-yield explosives attacks.
