Brig. Gen. Kenneth A. Beard, North Carolina National Guard Assistant Adjutant General for Sustainment, a 32-year veteran with a wartime deployment to Kuwait, leads the graduates of Class 55 and 23 in reciting the Officer’s Prayer during the 139th Regiment’s Officer Candidate School graduation ceremony held at John F. Kennedy Special Forces Warfare Center and School at Fort Bragg, N.C, on Aug. 24, 2013. The new leaders endured a rigorous journey of extensive training that tested their abilities in basic military skills and educated them on military operations and leadership.
