More than 200 gallons of fuel were poured into a circular pit and then ignited during a live fire training exercise aboard Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, Aug. 28, 2013. Marines with Bulk Fuel Company, 8th Engineer Support Battalion, 2nd Marine Logistics Group participated in the live fire exercises as well as classroom instruction on fuel first aid as part of their annual training requirement.
