The crew of Coast Guard Cutter Neah Bay, home-ported in Cleveland, and a boat crew from Coast Guard Station Marblehead, Ohio, aboard a 25-foot Response Boat-Small cross paths while patrolling a safety enforcement zone during the Battle of Lake Erie Bicentennial on Lake Erie Sept. 2, 2013. The crews carried out their missions in the same spirit that the Coast Guard's predecessor, the Revenue Cutter Service, did during the War of 1812.
