An Egyptian personnel carrier rolls onto shore after dismouting a U.S. Navy Equipment Carrier Vessel during the amphibious assault exercise on the Mediterranean Sea, Sept 15th. This is one of the six major events of the Bright Star exercise.
Bright Star is the largest and most significant coalition military exercise conducted by U.S. Central Command. The exercise is an important part of U.S. Central CommandÃ?s theater engagement strategy and is designed to improve readiness and interoperability and strengthen the military and professional relationships among U.S., Egyptian and participating forces.
