Kyle Busch, who has qualified in the top-12 in NASCAR Sprint Cup Series standings and is eligible for the championship, visited airmen here Wednesday, Sept. 11 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The visit was part of an ongoing civic outreach program coordinated by the 436th Airlift Wing Public Affairs Office to help build positive community relationships with the military, as well as part of NASCAR's 'Chase Across America' program, a nationwide kickoff celebrating the Chase for the Sprint Cup, NASCAR's 10-race championship chase. Dover International Speedway will host the third event in the 10-race series later this month. Busch attended the Eagle Firefighter's Association dedication of 9/11 memorial unveiling at the Air Mobility Command Museum and he helped Nestle Toll House Morsels present a donation of 1,500 tickets to USO Delaware for the Sunday, Sept. 29 'AAA 400' NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at the Monster Mile. Busch also interacted with military members at the 436th Aerial Port Squadron and at a static display of a C-5M Super Galaxy aircraft. (U.S. Air Force photo/Roland Balik)
